The album title says it all: this is a thick slice of chill outedness and downtempo groove in the form of original compositions by Victor Stone, laced with subtly funky samples. "Til My Cup Runs Over" is a brilliant track and shows Victor Stone's skill at weaving relaxed jazz melodies throughout his work, and "Walk Like Me" and "Cleaning His Gun" are also great specimens of the grown-up, nighttime vibe that Stone is so good at creating. La Vie Chill Blue Velvet than Ibiza, so it's an album that's right in line with the neo-lounge movement of late: sophisticated, modern, and fabulously nocturnal.
